DUSTIN M. CHOUINARD

Dustin is a highly experienced, respected and results-driven attorney. In 2000, as a third-year law student under the Montana Bar Association’s student practice rule, he successfully tried his first case to verdict. Since then, he has tried a wide variety of cases in the justice courts, city courts, state district courts, and federal district court in Montana. Dustin has also handled appeals to the Montana Supreme Court and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit.

Dustin handles a wide variety of legal issues for his clients, but his practice emphasis is on personal injury/wrongful death/ insurance claims and litigation, civil and criminal litigation, and family law. Dustin also regularly serves as a court-appointed and privately selected mediator.

Dustin was born and raised in Montana. After attending and earning a degree in political science, English writing, and economics at Concordia College in Moorhead, Minnesota in 1998, he attended the University of Montana School of Law. After earning his juris doctor degree in 2001, Dustin joined a prominent Missoula law firm he had interned with since his first year in law school before permanently settling with his family in the Bitterroot Valley in 2006.  

MEGAN S. WINDERL

Partner Megan S. Winderl is an accomplished attorney with experience in a variety of practice areas.  Megan’s diverse law practice reflects her wide array of real-life experiences, and she is skilled at handling complex legal matters.  Megan has the experience and depth of practice to provide effective representation in many areas of the law but primarily focuses on family law, real property and easement law, business law, administrative law, estate planning and probate, and civil litigation matters.  Megan is licensed to practice law in Montana and Idaho and has successfully taken numerous appeals to the Montana Supreme Court.

Megan was raised on a cattle ranch in Stevensville, Montana and her roots run deep in the community she now serves.  For well over a decade, she also operated a successful construction company in the Bozeman area, before settling back in the Bitterroot Valley in 2014.
